Buckinghamshire New University won two awards at a Health Education England event which celebrated contributions to excellence in education and training in north west London.
The Developing Patient and Public Engagement in Workforce Education and Training award was in recognition of an initiative which supports the recruitment and training of student nurses and social workers. It is the second award for the initiative which also won Partnership of the Year at the 2016 Student Nursing Times Awards.
The University also won an award for Most Innovative and Collaborative Approach to Driving Improvement in the Quality of Training Placements for its work with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group.
