What is involved in your day-to-day work?
Booking artists, promotion of events, running live events around the country and all day to day running of the company.

What have been your main career achievements to date?

  • Being shortlisted for running one of the Best Metropolitan festivals in the UK (Macmillan Fest) at UK Festival Awards 2015.
  • Running UK tours for up and coming artists.
  • Winning of Pure Rawk Awards – Promoter Of The Year 2014
  • Working on events such as:

How has your qualification from Bucks helped your career?
Some advice from my tutors has been incredibly useful since my time at Bucks. The course gave me the foundations to take my events to the next level and run a company competently, and also helped me develop great people skills and organisational skills.

What advice would you pass on to your first year self?Kris Davis1
Get as much work experience as you can. Do not wait too long to find a job in the industry.

This can be a very hard industry to get into, let alone make a living from. Make sure you have a realistic plan when entering into this industry, and always have a back up.

Make sure you use your voice more as a student if you are not happy with your course you are paying
for!
