Bucks Business School students studying a module in marketing communications have come up with ideas to help Deaf Health Charity SignHealth communicate its campaigns and events.
The tasks included launching campaigns for primary school children to design a new mascot for the charity and ways to promote Deaf Awareness Week in May.
Hannah Holt, Fundraising & Supporter Care Assistant at SignHealth, studied BA (Hons) Public Relations and Marketing Communications at Bucks, and returned to lead the session with Jenny Angliss, Communications Officer at the charity.
Lecturer Ruth Hickmott said: “This was a fascinating example of marketing communications in the complex world of charity.”

A final few words from Hannah about her time studying at Bucks:
“My course was interactive and you got to do so much, with companies, charities, and agencies coming in to regularly speak to you and work with you on real-life activities. That is what Bucks does that’s so great.”
